01May19. I ordered 2 piece Catfish with fries and fried okra. My daughter had the philly cheesesteak. The breading on the catfish is a little thick, but just right. The fries and okra were fried hard. My daughter's philly cheesesteak was the best she had ever had.
The food here is incredible! It arrives piping hot to your table and is prepared as your order. My friends had the one pound catfish plate which was huge and would feed 2 people along with 2 sides. They said it was some of the best catfish they had had in a long time. It was not over battered but crunchy and moist and tender. The fries were handcut and not frozen. My Monte Cristo sandwich was hot and gooey filled with turkey, ham and cheese then battered and grilled with powdered sugar on top and a side of raspbury jam. I have never had anything quiet like it, delicious. This restaurant is small but simple and clean. The friendly husband and wife team cook and serve to please their customers. There were lots of customers but not a long wait. I know now why this little restaurant gets such high ratings. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in Coweta County!
Great as usual. Best burgers around.
First time coming here and definitely won't be the last! The food was to die for!
Tiny little food spot in a tiny little strip mall. It's very easy to miss so you probably should pay close attention to your GPS if you haven't been here before. The entrance is in the same corner as the ordering window and soda/water cooler. It can be a little cramped so don't go barreling through. Remember to close the door behind you - there is no spring or fancy gizmo to do it for you.The food is basic, but good. Seafood, po'boys, burgers, and hot dogs. I have to be careful about pork so I asked questions (and I'm glad I did). I ordered the whole fried catfish with a side of rice & beans plus a side of mac 'n cheese. My daughter opted for the fish po'boy. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. The food arrived on foam/paper plates with plastic utensils. Our meal was very reasonably priced and tasty.Fine dining it is not, but if you crave reasonably priced good food if the type they serve here you will be satisfied with your visit.
The reviews don’t lie. This is a great little eatery. Stopped there in the way down to Columbus for lunch and ate on the front patio. We had dogs with us. Everything we ordered was delicious. I got the shrimp po boy and my friends got the blackened fish and a burger. All great.
Great food! Friendly service. Stopped in on our way back from Atlanta and had a great experience. A little bit more expensive than I expected but worth it for all the food you get!
In town on business and wanted to try something off the beaten path - glad I did! This place is a diamond in the rough!Seafood, chicken, burgers, dogs, Philly sandwiches, etc.All good! I'll be back!
Start with the hush puppies! They are hot, fresh and have real 🌽 in the them. Then order anything off the menu and it will be good but I recommend the shrimp and grits if available. Hot, fresh and full of flavor, you will thank yourself for ordering this dish. Go here and enjoy.
